Arriving and Leaving
Arriving at ACC Liverpool
We strongly advise all of our visitors to allow plenty of time to arrive for events at both the Arena and Convention Centre. The main road to the venue is very busy and at peak times or when there is an Arena event taking place and The Strand will experience high traffic volume. In addition, ACC Liverpool operates a 1600 spaces multi-storey car park on site that does become very busy prior to events as large volumes of traffic come to the venue and it can take up to an hour to enter. We would like to advise customers that there is also a car park at Liver Street (Q Park), just off the Strand next to the Police Headquarters, this car park holds 850 cars and provides an alternative to parking on site. This car park is indicated on our ticket wallets and on the map under related stuff.
We recommend that all customers aim to arrive at the Doors Open Time printed on the ticket one and a half hours before the show start time.
Leaving ACC Liverpool
The ACC Liverpool team is committed to ensuring your experience as a visitor to the venue is as good as it possibly can be and we are aware that heavy traffic and delays in leaving the Arena and Convention Centre car park may affect your visitor experience. We work closely with the city Highways department to give our customers a clear exit along the Strand and empty the Multi-storey car park as quickly as possible.
Occasionally when the car park has reached maximum capacity occasionally it can take over an hour to empty top levels and this can lead to frustration.
One of the benefits of ACC Liverpool’s location is the Albert Dock and surrounding bars, restaurants and hotels where customers can benefit from the facilities after an event.
